Lucy Shuker | GB Wheelchair Tennis Player

Lucy Shuker is one of Great Britain’s most accomplished wheelchair tennis players, with a career spanning over two decades. A three-time Paralympic medallist, she made history at the London 2012 Games alongside Jordanne Whiley by securing Great Britain’s first-ever womens medal in wheelchair tennis—a feat they repeated with bronze in Rio 2016 and silver in Tokyo 2020.

With over 100 international titles to her name, Lucy has reached nine Grand Slam doubles finals and represented Great Britain at five Paralympic Games, including Paris 2024, where she was honoured as a flag bearer for ParalympicsGB.

Beyond the court, Lucy is a passionate advocate for disability inclusion and youth development. She serves as an ambassador for the LTA, promoting tennis in schools, and actively campaigns for greater integration of wheelchair tennis into mainstream tournaments. Her journey exemplifies resilience, leadership, and the transformative power of sport.
