Sharifa AlSudairi | Professional Skier

Sharifa AlSudairi is Saudi Arabia’s first female professional skier – and she’s quietly redefining what athletic excellence can look like.

Born and raised in Jeddah, Sharifa didn’t follow a traditional path to elite sport. She was educated in Switzerland and later in London, earning degrees in fine art and art business. Her love for skiing began during family holidays in the Alps – what started as a pastime soon became a deep personal passion. Over time, the mountains became a space of purpose, precision, and self-expression.

Sharifa entered the sport professionally later than most, carving out her own place in alpine skiing – a discipline long dominated by Western athletes. She has now competed in FIS races across three seasons and played a pivotal role in Saudi Arabia’s debut at the Asian Winter Games. With her sights set on the 2026 Winter Olympics, she continues to train with focus and intention, on her own terms.

Her presence in the sport is powerful and multi-dimensional. She is a Saudi athlete bringing new representation to global winter sports, a mother of two balancing elite training with family life, and a wellness-driven competitor dedicated to sustainable, holistic performance. Her recovery protocols combine cutting-edge science with conscious self-care – a high-performance lifestyle grounded in discipline, harmony, and meaning.

For Sharifa, sport is more than a test of talent; it’s an expression of purpose. Her journey isn’t just symbolic – it’s a catalyst for possibility.

Sharifa AlSudairi isn’t just competing. She’s creating space for what comes next.
