BIOGRAPHY

Dr Dina Altayeb | Consultant Periodontist & Triathlete

Dr Dina Altayeb is a periodontist and an assistant professor, who holds an undergraduate degree from King Abdulaziz university and a masters degree from Tufts university. She is a Founding Partner and Consultant Periodontist at Dentalia Dental Clinics in Jeddah, and serves as a trustee for Tufts university and a member of the board of advisors for the dental school at Tufts university as the 1st Saudi female for a trustee position. Dr. Dina is a member of the saudi triathlon federation, and in 2005, she became the first Saudi to complete an Ironman triathlon. Over 20 years, she has finished 21 full Ironman races and over 100 events total. She is the first Arab female and Saudi to qualify for the prestigious Ironman World Championship in Hawaii, which she has done four times.
Dr. Dina's dedication has earned her numerous accolades, including being named Ironman Athlete of the year in the xc devision of Ironman for 6 consecutive years.
