Nalain Naidoo | Specialist in Global Business Development Focusing on International Sports IP’s and Corporate Partnerships
Nalain Naidoo – is an entrepreneur currently heading up business development for Global Corporate clients. She holds over 25 years business experience such as her current roles supporting CSM Live, IESF, AISTS, and previous roles as Global Director Olympic Operations at The Dow Chemical Company and earlier roles leading/overseeing key Global partnerships on behalf of McDonald’s and Coca-Cola with the International Olympic Committee (IOC); the National Olympic Committees; UEFA and FIFA. Nalain is one of a select few who have worked directly for three of the major TOP’s (Top Olympic Partner) specialising in the International activation of both Olympic and World Cup Football events at the highest level.
In these roles, Nalain was responsible for the development of key relationships and communications/marketing strategies essential to business development for the enterprises she represented.
Her focus was to optimise the associated contractual sponsorship rights and maximise ROI from these high-level partnerships.
Her experience spans working with various stakeholder groups from building relations with local host city governments, NGO’s, engaging youth, legal negotiations on contractual rights and internal stakeholders through the various contractual partnership agreements.
Nalain is based out of Switzerland & Singapore and has previously held senior marketing roles at Dow Chemicals; McDonald’s; Coca Cola; ABB and Virgin – and has worked in South Africa; the United Kingdom and Switzerland. She is a full member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) in London and has degrees in civil engineering and public relations.
Nalain is a citizen of Switzerland and South Africa. She speaks English, German and French.
