Wimena has continued to break new ground, building on the momentum of our inaugural conference in June 2024. Since then, we have been at the forefront of changing perceptions, fostering powerful networks, and driving real impact for women in sport - both globally and within  the Middle East.

 

Following our first conference, where we brought together an outstanding community of role models, industry professionals, coaches and leaders, we had the privilege of expanding our reach further. In partnership with the Saudi Ministry of Sport, we hosted two groundbreaking events in the Kingdom:

 

Women in Motorsport alongside Formula E and Girls on Track in Jeddah, celebrating the rise of female talent in motorsport.

 

Wimena: A Sporting Journey, our flagship conference in Riyadh, which reinforced the role of women in shaping the future of sport across the region.

 

Now, in London, we are set for another game-changing event. With a dynamic programme featuring expert panel discussions, thought-provoking insights, and an international network of trailblazers, we are excited to continue shaping the future of women’s sport on a global scale.

 

Wimena is dedicated to promoting women with inclusivity at all levels, across all spheres of interest and employment. Our aim is to increase opportunities for women, break down cultural and institutional barriers, and provide platforms for women and girls to thrive at all levels.
