Ali AlDajani | President, Saudi Arabian Rugby Federation

Ali AlDajani holds a degree in Kinesiology and competed in both rugby and wrestling at collegiate level, before playing rugby at semi-professional level. It is this background as an athlete that has shaped his belief in sport as a vehicle for empowerment and social change.

As President of the Saudi Arabian Rugby Federation since 2019, Ali has been at the forefront of growing women’s participation in rugby across the Kingdom. Under the Federation’s leadership, Saudi Arabia established its first Women’s National Team, creating a formal pathway for female athletes to represent their country at international level. Alongside this, rugby was integrated into the national school curriculum across 36 schools, planting the seeds of the sport amongst the next generation of young women and girls.

Beyond the Federation, Ali has developed his career across the sports sector in strategy consulting, partnership management, and sports asset development.
